Lead counsel for the defense of Silver State Bank and later the FDIC in the consolidated case arising from the failure of a 1031 tax-free exchange accommodator.  The case involved over 100 claimants who have lost about $97.0 million in money deposited with Southwest Exchange, and the defense of its primary depository bank which received those exchange funds.
