In his 31^st year of practice, Scott Cook is a Shareholder of the Firm and is admitted, licensed and actively practicing in Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada and New Mexico.  He has earned an AV® Preeminent™ lawyer rating from the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell service.

Mr. Cook has focused on all aspects of civil litigation and has developed expertise in many areas including oversight, management and litigation of Catastrophic Injury and damage cases; complex litigation in tort and product liability; environmental exposure; explosion and fire; all aspects of health care and medical negligence claims; Indian Law; Professional Negligence; and Insurance Law. He is recognized for his assertiveness, focus and courtroom skills.

In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Cook is involved in the legal and medical communities, serves as an expert witness and holds a certificate of training in natural gas and propane.  He is also involved in the food industry and works in food handling litigation. He has also appeared in Indian Courts or administrative proceedings in Idaho, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado on various Indian law regulatory, environmental and matters in litigation.

Mr. Cook is an often requested instructor of continuing legal and medical education classes, including presentations to physician and professional groups and serves the legal community as a lecturer, convention panelist and author of numerous articles and publications and serves on the Board of Directors of Project R.E.A.L. (Real Education About the Law), a Las Vegas non-profit organization dedicated to bringing practical education about the law and legal system to school children.

During the course of his career, Mr. Cook has overseen and directed a seven-state area of litigation for a major insurance carrier, served as a Managing Partner for a national law firm, has been awarded certificates of appreciation from the Colorado Defense Lawyer’s Association, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Self-Insurance Institute of America, and has earned the Achieving Legal Excellence Award of Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.

Mr. Cook is a member of many professional organizations, including the Bar Association in each state where he is licensed, the Defense Research Institute, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Clark County and Denver Bar Associations and Risk Insurance Management, Inc.
