Mr. Howard regularly handles litigation matters in all state and federal courts in Nevada and California as well as disputes subject to mandatory and contractual arbitration.

Mr. Howard’s litigation practice is broad-based, including extensive experience in the areas of commercial litigation, lender liability, receiverships, landlord/tenant disputes, insurance, title insurance, construction defects, secured transactions, intellectual property, suretyship law, fidelity and performance bonds, franchise law, collection matters and all types of contested and adversarial bankruptcy matters.
He has represented the construction lenders in some of the largest lien priority trials in Nevada.

He was previously a member of the law firm of Frandzel & Share, the managing partner of its San Francisco office and chair of the San Francisco Bar Association, Commercial Law, and Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Howard has also served as general counsel and CFO for a privately held company.

Mr. Howard received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1971 and his Juris Doctor from Hastings College of the Law in 1974.
