Eric Walther practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, general civil litigation, and appeals.

Prior to joining Kolesar & Leatham, Mr. Walther served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Mark Gibbons of the Supreme Court of Nevada. As a law clerk, Mr. Walther researched and wrote bench memoranda to assist the Justices in deciding a variety of complex cases before the Court. In this role, Mr. Walther also assisted the Court in drafting several important published opinions.

Mr. Walther received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011. Mr. Walther earned his Juris Doctor from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2014, where he graduated magna cum laude. During law school, Mr. Walther served as an extern to the Honorable Michael P. Villani of the Eighth Judicial District Court, was Editor-in-Chief of the UNLV Gaming Law Journal, and was a member of the Society of Advocates Moot Court Team.
