Joseph J. Mugan practices primarily in the areas of real estate, banking, corporate and commercial transactions and privilege licensing, including alcohol beverage permitting.
Mr. Mugan earned his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2004 where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Mugan also received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Creighton University in 2001, where he graduated cum laude.
While attending law school, Mr. Mugan was a member of the Nevada Law Review and served as the business editor on the editorial board for the Nevada Law Journal. Mr. Mugan also was a teacher in the Street Law program educating Nevada's teens about the law.
Mr. Mugan is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Mr. Mugan is also a member of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Mugan formerly was a member of the corporate tax department of MGM-Mirage. He was selected as one of In Business Las Vegas' Lawyers Who's Who 2006.
