Mr. Volmer earned his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2008 where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Dean's List. Mr. Volmer also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University in 2004 where he graduated cum laude.

While attending law school, Mr. Volmer was a member of the Nevada Law Review and served on the editorial board for the Nevada Law Journal. He was also a judicial extern for Judge Robert C. Jones of the United States District Court, District of Nevada.

Mr. Volmer is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
