Ann Lyter Thomas practices primarily in the areas of business litigation and labor and employment law. Ms. Thomas regularly handles litigation matters in state and federal courts in Nevada at both the trial and appellate levels. Ms. Thomas also has considerable experience representing employers in litigation and administrative proceedings and advising employers on labor and employment issues.

Ms. Thomas received her Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1993. In law school, she was an associate editor of the Washington University Journal of Urban and Contemporary Law and was Chapter Justice of Phi Alpha Delta. Ms. Thomas received her Bachelor of Education in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Thomas is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and a vice chair of the Employer/Employee Relations Committee of the Tort Trial Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court of Nevada, and all Nevada state courts.

Ms. Thomas previously was a legal writing professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV and taught Pretrial Litigation as an adjunct. She has lectured extensively on labor and employment issues.
